Middle Distance Triathlon cutoff times (Single and Relays)
Swim: Athletes will have 1hr to complete the swim. Athletes who take longer than 1hr to complete the swim will receive a DNF.
Bike: 4 hours and 30 minutes after the start. Athletes who take longer than 4 hours and 30 minutes to complete the swim and bike can continue to race but will not have any support and will do so under their own responsibility.
Run: 7 hours after the start. Athletes who take longer than 7 hours to complete the swim, bike and run can continue to race but will not have any support and will do so under their own responsibility.
Total Time Cut-off: The race will officially end 7 hours after the start. Each athlete will have 7 hours to complete the race. Any athlete that takes longer than 7 hours to complete the race can continue to race but will not have any support and will do so under their own responsibility. They will not be eligible for age group awards.

The swim course begins at Ayia Napa Nissi Beach, there are two laps around all buoys and with a short exit in between the laps. A 90m run leads from the swim exit to the Transition Area.
bike course
The bike course consists of two parts. The first part is 3.8Km from the mount/dismount line up to the police roundabout. This part is open to traffic, and it is done once on the way out and once on the way in. The second part is closed to traffic and consist of total 82.6 Km in 5 laps. The total distance to be covered is 90.2Km of an undulating course.
Warnings – attention!
On the part which is open to traffic, the traffic law is applicable, and you must follow the traffic rules.
On the part that is closed to traffic you must keep always on the left-hand side of the road. In the case of overtaking, you must safely return as quickly as possible to the left-hand side of the road.

The running course first leads along the bike path due west to the 21Km turning point. On the return route you turn right toward Ayia Napa Marina. From there, the route leads back to the main route where you turn right at the Ayia Napa Waterpark to the finish area.
There are three laps and 21.1Km to run.
